When you begin to sing rhymes more than your baby does, and that too, word for word…then you know it is time for some serious head banging sessions! Vinod got us a GNR CD to make amends ;-).
We were at rhyme time, and the library transformed itself from a sombre, hush-place, to a place filled with screams, laughs, actions, drool, nose-goo, and a general sense of happiness. What makes children find a way to go from sadness to instant happiness? My cup-o-noodles takes longer! I love these moments I spend with Neil. I couldn’t have been more happier in my life. His uncontrollable laughter when we play peek-a-boo with the other children in the room is so darn contagious. It has me in splits. It would normally take a very funny joke to crack me up, but this is one place in time that knows no boundaries for joy. My life has not known a moment of sadness since Neil. He is a perpetual ball of contagious laughter and joy rolling around in different ways in our lives. I know this is true for Vinod as well. For when he walks in to the house after a tired days work, I see how his eyes light up when Neil trots towards him for a hug. What could be more precious?
“The child must know that he is a miracle, that since the beginning of the world there hasn’t been, and until the end of the world there will not be, another child like him.”
